| Advices to follow as soon as you find out your child is missing. |
As soon as you suspect your child is missing, call his friends and schoolmates, ask them when they saw him for the last time and get from them as much information as possible.
Call all your relatives to tell them the situation and see if anyone has any information.
Report the missing at the nearest police station:
- If they refuse to accept the report on the grounds that you should wait 24 or 48 hours, tell them you know your child is “at risk” and insist on their accepting it.
- Ask for a copy of the report.
- Ask at the police station which Children’s Court applies to your domicile, including name of judge and/or secretary and court address.
Go to the Court and even when they had not already received the case from the police, ask for an investigation of the reported situation, giving every single detail of your child as well as a picture of him as updated as possible.
